I would recommend using InnoDB, as it will greatly improve the performance of your MySQL queries. Yes, you can change your database tables from MyISAM to InnoDB fairly easy. Please check hhttps://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/converting-tables-from-myisam-to-innodb/ You may also want to consider using disk cache or Memcache to improve SQL queries.

No stats and I tried everything..
Snoork Hosting replied to Ben74's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
Make sure your database user is added to your database name and has proper ownership permission. Have you tried running the maintenance via SSH (server console) and see if the statistics then update? -

Server For 40M Impressions Monthly
Snoork Hosting replied to yacenty's topic in Performance, Scalability, and Reliability
You can easily serve over 40 million impressions per month with a single dedicated server. I would recommend going for an E3 server or equivalent with at least 8 GB of memory and SSD storage. SSD is a must to make sure your MySQL database can process queries fast. Bandwidth usage depends on many factors such as if you will be hosting your own banners or using 3rd party add tags. -
Majority of our customers use our hardware end traffic filtering to detect and filter suspicious traffic. The device learns the interaction of the visitor with ad system and if it detects any suspicious activity it will initiate a block. This is done through the use of Cisco, WatchGuard, Corero, and RioRey. You could try looking at CloudFlare

Need Disk Space And My Cache Is 2,2 Gb
Snoork Hosting replied to horseguards's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
Yes, you can delete the cache files and new cache files will continue to generate. 2 GB of space is very low. You may want to consider increasing your hosting disk space slightly. -
Memcached Socket
Snoork Hosting replied to UndeadSauron's topic in Performance, Scalability, and Reliability
Yes, Revive can connect to Memcached. You will need to have the Memcached extension installed on the server and simply enable Memcached inside Revive. Don't forget to optimize Memcached on the server to make sure you get the best possible performance. -
Decrase Bandwith Usage
Snoork Hosting replied to mohamma6006's topic in Performance, Scalability, and Reliability
15 GB of bandwidth in 10 days is very little. You could optimize your images by compressing them. You could check http://imageoptimizer.net/ Also you can try using CloudFlare (www.cloudflare.com) to save your bandwidth. -
Default Geotargeting Is Not Working
Snoork Hosting replied to Kris's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
Most likely you don't have GeoIP module installed on the server. Also double check to make sure you have the correct patch directory to the GeoIP country database. -
Upgrade Of Revive In Distributed Environment
Snoork Hosting replied to firstimpression's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
You will have to upgrade Revive on all of your installations. The replication will only replicate certain tables, not all of the tables will be replicated, so you will need to import the database over the existing database. This will preserve any existing data and make sure all installations are using the same database content. -
No, the publisher will not have to update their ad code.

You will have to make sure that you place the ad code only on the homepage of your Joomla and not on the header or footer.

Issue After Migrating To New Server.
Snoork Hosting replied to kennethrules's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
Looks like your Revive Adserver is unable to connect to the MySQL database. Check your config file and make sure you have the correct MySQL database information. -
I do not believe there is an easy way to copy specific data over from one server to another. You would most likely have to extract that specific campaign for MySQL database and then import it back into your other server. I wouldn't advise it thought. It's best to setup the campaigns again or transfer the entire database over.

Ui And/or Banners On Different Domains.
Snoork Hosting replied to toldmikl's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
http:// and https:// are the same thing, except when a user accesses your site via https:// the data they enter into form fields such as username and password is encrypted/secured. -
Are you getting any errors? Double check to make sure you have the correct folder permissions assigned.

No Conf.php File In Var Directory
Snoork Hosting replied to patrickford's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
Before running the installation make sure that your /var folder has the correct permission (755 while in suPHP and 777 while in DSO). After installation is completed, change the permission back to default. Also make sure that you have the correct ownership and group permission assigned to the /var directory. -
Do you have maintenance setup? Check the debut.log file and see if there are any errors.

Looks like an issue with caching on your server possibly. Do you have anything related with caching installed on your server such as Memcache, APC, Nginx, etc...? Also I highly advise running Revive in CentOS with Apache/Nginx. You should not be using suPHP for Revive as this will cause a major performance degerdation. suPHP may be more secure, but so long as you are not using 777 permissions there is no need to use suPHP, as the performance hit pretty big.

403 Error When I Try To Start Install
Snoork Hosting replied to heklind's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
Most likely you have incorrect user/group permission for your files. You'll need to correct t the permission so it's assigned under the user and not root. You can do this by running chown user:group file/folder -
Scheduled Maintenence Failing With Memory Error
Snoork Hosting replied to moz1966's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
There is no other parameter, as you are limiting the PHP memory limit. You may be setting up something incorrectly, if you are still getting the error message after changing it to 256 MB. Make sure you do not have any php.ini files inside your data files where your Revive files are. -
Google "malware Code Injection" Warning
Snoork Hosting replied to keepersmith's topic in Managing Revive Adserver
Hi, I have checked your site really quick and it's showing that it's malware free at the moment. You did have a lot of malware reports thought from what I can see. The malware was probably coming from your ads, as Revive Adserver is pretty secure by itself. It also shows that malware wasn't hosted on your site, so it was coming from 3rd party content. Thank you.
