  1. The openXWorkflow and openXMarket plugins are no longer part of Revive Adserver and are supposed to be removed during a properly executed upgrade from OpenX to Revive Adserver.
  2. There is no feature to let an advertiser user create their own campaign. This is intentional.
  3. In my personal opinion, this is a hugely important set of features, but also a huge project. I think it would be best to leave this to third party developers in the community, as part of the ecosystem that's starting to build.
  4. @andrewatfornax: this used to work in earlier version, but not anymore. However, if you add the additional recipients as users on the 'user access' tab of the advertiser, each of these users will get the same report at the e-mail address you enter for them.
  5. The whole point of direct selection is that you don't use sites and zones, so the statistics you're looking for don't exist.
  6. No, it's not installing it in the _new directory, just uploading it there. Just read the upgrade guide, every single step is described there in complete detail.
  7. Iframe invocation code or any other type is unlikely to be the cause of the alert. Which virus scanner or other tool is it that is reporting a security notification?
  8. I do not think that the security issue is related to using iframe or some other type of invocation code. Most likely, your ad server has actually been compromised.
  9. Do you know how to look inside your database? There are a few tables in there that have the characters bkt_ in their names. Is there recent data in these tables and is new data being added each time a banner is displayed? Look at the table with the name ending in _bkt_m specifically.
  10. There is no difference between daily stats and accumulating monthly stats, everything you see in the reports comes from the same database table.
  11. That's not what I asked. I would like to know an exact date and time this (has) happened.
  12. Could you let us know the exact date and time this has happened? Did it happen more than once (on multiple days) or just once?
  13. There are no plans for an e-mail notification for new versions, but we do have this idea: https://github.com/revive-adserver/revive-adserver/issues/233 If you like it, feel free to support this proposal.
  14. You need to ensure that the MySQL users has 'all privileges' (except grant) on all tables in the database.
  15. It looks like the issue is related to one or more plugins not being enabled or installed. Have you checked that?
  16. Have you checked that every one of your zones has at least one banner from a remnant campaign linked to it? This banner should have no delivery limitations or frequency capping. Doing this ensures that each zone has at least one banner it can select at any given time.
  17. From the numbers you've provided, it appears you've modified the operations interval from the default of 60 minutes to 30 minutes. This would explain why ox_data_intermediate_ad is twice as large as ox_data_summary_ad_hourly. A 5GB database is in itself not unusual, although I realize it could create some problems if you're running it all on a not-so-powerful server.
  18. Revive Adserver (like its predecessor OpenX Source) comes bundled with a plugin that enables it to deliver video ads based on the VAST standard. This VAST standard has since been replaced by the VAST2 and recently even the VAST2 specs. VAST is short for Video Ad Serving Template, it's a set of specifications issued by the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau), an industry standards body. The site mentioned by leroy_hack (who comes up with those odd names?) is a project started in 2009 by my partner Matteo Beccati and myself. We develop free and paid plugins, and one of them is called VidiX. It bumps up the VAST capabilities of OpenX Source and Revive Adserver to the VAST2 specifications. Please be aware that it is not a free plugin.
  19. If your 'old' (OpenX Source) installation can see the relevant config file, I don't see why the 'new' (Revive Adserver) can't see the new config file. It might have to do with permissions or ownership of the config file.
  20. It looks like you either forgot to copy the config file from the 'old' to the 'new' var folder, or you edited the config file incorrectly. If you are upgrading from OpenX Source to Revive Adserver, the table name prefix is probably ox_, and you need to leave it like that. If you change it to rv_, the upgrade wizard won't find your existing tables, and thus assume it is a new installation.
  21. Adding to the explanation by Ilya, Revive Adserver is the successor of OpenX Source. OpenX (the company) discontinued the availability of OpenX Market for users of OpenX Source in the 1st quarter of 2013. In September of 2013, OpenX Source was replaced by the Revive Adserver project, at which time the (by then) no longer relevant plugin and other functionality for connecting to OpenX Market was removed.
  22. If that plugin was not installed and/or not enabled at that time, no data has been recorded, so there is nothing to recover, unfortunately.
  23. We have no plans to start a mailing list for version upgrade notifications. I've opened in issue in our project management tool, suggesting to add a feature where an notification about a new version being available is also displayed for users who are not a system administrator.
  24. A/ You don't, this is not a feature. B/ If this is for a contract campaign, then Revive Adserver will automatically distribute the 1000 impressions over the total duration of the campaign.
