  1. Our client has sent us a tag for a pre-roll. It checks out fine. The problem is that we need to serve this pre-roll to a number of sites. So we entered the tag into a new campaign on our Revive server. But so far we have not been able to use the format suggested by one of the forum users to generate a VAST tag that works on the VAST Ad Tester. Can someone give me an example of a VAST tag that we can generate so the preroll can be served through our Revive ad server? Thanks.

  3. Hello Imnotsure, Where can you buy the plugin that will let Revive create a VAST tag? Do you know if we can create a campaign using a VAST tag from mediaplex and serve it to other sites using that plugin? Thanks!
  4. Thanks, Matteo, for directing me to this solution. Very kind of you! It has resolved our problem as well. Is this simply the old version of the al.php file?
  5. We just upgraded to 3.1.0. The Simple format Overlay used to work fine in 3.0.5. Now even when the overlay banner is not showing due to frequency capping or geotargeting, the X-button and the overlay background continues to be visible. Is this a bug or is there something different we need to do to avoid this problem in ver. 3.1.0?
  6. May be a good idea to wait a while. OpenXmods aka DreamAjax did send me the basic Rising Stars module and did perform part of the customization they agreed to provide because the basic modules don't have the degree of control required to be useful for our advertisers. However, for the past month we've seen no progress toward completing the customization and the company hasn't responded to our inquiries. So it may be on hiatus for now.
  7. Just a followup to report that Openxmods did follow through and get our device and ISP targeting to work. It ended up taking about a week, which is a day longer than promised, but some of that may be due to having to communicate across the 12.5-hour time difference. We have done some testing and both types of targeting limitations appear to working correctly. Now we have a degree of confidence in buying their Rising Stars modules, and possibly other products.
  8. Ever since our upgrade to Revive 3.0.5 a week ago, scheduled maintenance stopped running. So I've reactivated automatic maintenance for now. I checked and made sure the chron job is set up correctly. Is there some issue with the upgrade that could cause scheduled maintenance to stop like this?
  9. Hello, We did recently buy from the site some plugins/modules to allow us to use Revive 3.0.5 target by device and also by ISP. So far the ISP targeting is not working though they are promising to address it. We are unsure about device targeting since we will need to accumulate some data for confirm. I have to say communication is a bit sparse from the company, but we only made the purchase about 6 days ago, so it's hard to pass judgment on whether they stand behind their products. We are also interested in possibly purchasing the Rising Stars units plugins, so let us know how that goes!
  10. I have purchased the MaxMind GeoIOSIP database and set the path to that file for the ISP and Organization location file on the oxMaxMindGeoIP Plugins settings. That is apparently not enough to activate ISP targeting. Is there something else I need to do?
  11. Thanks for your response. How do I invoke the included plugin for ISP targeting? I was not able to see it in the banner limitations pulldown menu?
  12. We would like someone to develop a plug-in that would allow us to use our Revive server to target banners by ISP, e.g. Verizon, Time-Warner Cable, etc. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks.
  13. Hello, We have a client who would like to be able to target banners to users of specific ISPs, e.g. Verizon, Time-Warner Cable, etc. Is there a plug-in or some other method of doing this?
  14. Thanks, Eliza. I'm not sure what you mean by creating a Targeting Channel or how I could use that to exclude a large number of zip codes. We can't use the longitude method because the client has specified a list of zip codes to be excluded from our state target.
  15. I am trying to use zip code geotargeting using the city database from Maxmind which supposedly allows geotargeting by zip code. I have been using it successfully for DMA and even city targeting but have not yet been able to figure out how to use zip codes. 1. How do you input a string of zip codes into the text box that appears when you select zip/postal code targeting? Should each zip code be separated by a comma, by blank spaces or does each one have to be entered into a separate box? Even when I try the one-box-per-zip method, I can't seem to get banners served to the zip codes. 2. If I want to limit delivery to a particular state but exclude about 150 zip codes from that state, what would be the best, most efficient way to set the limitation and enter the zip codes? I would appreciate any insight you can give regarding zip code geotargeting with Revive.
  16. I keep getting this error and have no idea what it is referring to. As far as I know there has been no customization of the database. Previous version - 1 error Errors were found when detecting previous installations of Revive Adserver We have detected integrity issues with your database. This means that the layout of your database differs from what we expect it to be. This could be due to customization of your database. Check name Current value Status application - database integrity check detected problems with the database - 2 fields to change NOT OK I've run check tables and found no errors.
