  1. Hi there, At the moment there are incomplete instructions on how to create video pre-roll ads. After installing Revive Adserver, setting up a video banner, and then linking the zone... after clicking the video invocation code tab I see the following message" Note: Zone invocation codes are not used for Video Ads. Instead, you must include the zone in the Ad Schedule of the video player plugin configuration in your webpage. Please refer to the Video Ads Plugin User Guide for instructions. The link in the message redirects to an OpenX page that has no relevance to the video ad plugin at all. I've researched the forum extensively for every post related to video and pre-roll video ads and found a few queries from others - who happen to be just as confused as I am. I found no definitive guide or examples on how to do video pre-roll ads, or video ads in general. Can somebody please help me? Here are the links on this forum that were at least partially useful for video ads: http://forum.revive-adserver.com/topic/11-display-video-website/?hl=video http://forum.revive-adserver.com/topic/228-how-to-create-a-vast-tag-using-revive-ad-server/?hl=video http://forum.revive-adserver.com/topic/369-guidance-for-few-newbie-questions/?hl=video http://forum.revive-adserver.com/topic/373-video-ad-error-webm-format/?hl=video http://forum.revive-adserver.com/topic/247-what-is-the-vast-version-used-in-revive-adserver/
  2. Hi Team, I'm a newbie to Revive Adserver. I have been able to install the ad server, but I want to generate a VAST tag so that the video ads can play on my JW Enterprise player. Any documentation how we can do that? Manohar
  3. Currently video overlay ads seem very restricted when using HTML, maybe they are embedded in a SWF container. "The following HTML tags are supported: <br>, <b>, <font color="#hexadecimalColorOnly" face="" size="">, <i>, <li>, <u>. If you need to display an image in your Overlay Ad, we recommend using the Image Overlay or SWF Overlay instead. All links <a href=""> will be ignored: the flash player will automatically add a click layer on top of the overlay, that will initiate a video or open a page in a new window." New VPAID 2 enables Javascript functionality, it would be great if I could create full HTML and Javascript ads and paste them into Revive. The Google IMA SDK for HTML5 has support for VPAID 2 JavaScript creatives, so this could be tested. Regards Michael
