andrewatfornax Posted February 4, 2018 Report Posted February 4, 2018 Hi @Williams Rosian, Unfortunately, I doubt anyone is going to be able to assist with that - the parameters are a critical part of the functionality of Revive Adserver. Quote
Williams Rosian Posted February 4, 2018 Author Report Posted February 4, 2018 Hi, thank you for your replay @andrewatfornax the main reason why I would like to do this is that the traffic from the ad banner is not visible in Google Analytics. Is there a way to make in Google A. this referral traffic to show? Thank you Quote
andrewatfornax Posted February 5, 2018 Report Posted February 5, 2018 Hi @Williams Rosian, Sorry, I'm not a Google Analytics user, so I don't know for sure, but it seems strange that GA would not show referrals just because there are some parameters in the URL. Looking back at your URL, I can see it's an https:// request. You know that there are restrictions on passing referral information from an https:// site (like your Revive Adserver URL) when going to an http:// site? Is your banner click going to an https:// version or your site, or http:// ? Quote

We're experiencing a similar issue, with our sites (HTTPS) not showing up on our clients' website analytics (HTTP sites using Google Analytics). There seems to be some good explanations about adding a meta tag to our website head to send referral data from HTTPS to HTTP sites (https://moz.com/blog/meta-referrer-tag). Has anyone else experienced this with Revive and Google Analytics, and found any fixes? Quote
