Limac Posted September 7, 2017 Report Posted September 7, 2017 When I try to install revive 4.0.2 I have a problem, it does not go beyond the second point of the installation wizard. When filling in the data of the Database, does not give any error and returns to the beginning, point 1 Welcome. This happens again and again. I have tested with different connection data, even with the mysql root user and nothing. I have tested on multiple servers with the same result. The server data is: Debian 8.9 PHP 5.6.30-0+deb8u1 (cli) (built: Feb 8 2017 08:50:21) Copyright (c) 1997-2016 The PHP Group Zend Engine v2.6.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2016 Zend Technologies with Zend OPcache v7.0.6-dev, Copyright (c) 1999-2016, by Zend Technologies apache2 2.4.10-10+deb8u10 mysql-server 5.5.57-0+deb8u1 In the logs there is no trace of any error and it fails to connect to the mysql server. I'm stuck, help please. Quote
Limac Posted September 7, 2017 Author Report Posted September 7, 2017 (edited) I've gone crazy and it was a real nonsense. If you launch the installation from the chrome browser it does NOT work (Versión 60.0.3112.113 (Build oficial) (64 bits)). With Firefox without problems. It should be noted in the installation instructions of the website It seems like a problem with cookies and chrome. Edited September 7, 2017 by Limac Quote
andrewatfornax Posted September 7, 2017 Report Posted September 7, 2017 Hi @Limac, I use Chrome as my primary browser, and have successfully installed the latest release of Revive Adserver using Chrome. Perhaps the issue might be in https://documentation.revive-adserver.com/display/DOCS/Revive+Adserver+Broken ? Quote
Limac Posted September 8, 2017 Author Report Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) In the end I did the installation with Firefox and everything ok. Something strange had to happen with my Chrome browser. Today I entered without problems from Chrome with https to the administrator. The guides I read all :-), the browser had it without strange settings, without popup blocker, cookies ... but the installation did not work from Chrome ... Thank you very much for the information @andrewatfornax Edited September 8, 2017 by Limac Quote
