Using Revive-Adserver To Serve Html Blocks To Our Own Site

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

As a newbie to this site and to Revive-Adserver (R-A), I've tried to read around the forum and see if my question has already been posted.  If it is, please point me in that direction.  :)

My challenge is: I'd like to be able to schedule the display of banners/html blocks on our own magento-based website with specific enable/disable date & times. It seems this is something R-A would be perfect to and would also the bonus of allow tracking.

  1. Could I upload any html to R-A and have that served each and every time that page is called? Essentially a server with time-ranges on it.
  2. Is this possible to do without costing per click or delivery? Kind of acting like another content server.
  3. Would this delivery be possible prior to hitting the caching so the "block" is delivered to the user with the rest of that page? rather than an extra call.

Thanks in advance of any solutions or pointing to resources I may have missed,

Adam
