magnus69
Hi, I am new to Revive. I think about using Apache mod_cache for /ads/www/images/ to quicker deliver ads. Would you recommend it? mod_cache is not yet installed on our server, but I guess I have more use of that module than mod_expires which is installed but not configured? I am already using memcache plugin. We have about 8 million hits to /ads folder totally per week. Server has 4 SAS disks and 16GB memory. I allocated 1.5GB to memcache. andrewatfornax
I would probably look at a PHP opcode cache for improving performance.
Ian
1.5GB to memcache is ways to much! 128 MB is already more then enough :) If you serve images you could serve them via another box ... or a CDN. (and yes, mod_expire would do better then mod_cache)
