Sorry, what do you mean about sharing the link in private with the web page? Not exactly sure what you are telling me to do. I can provide a link to the live page in question if that is what you mean?
Yes.

Have you check errors on the browser through console?
-
Is myhost live or is it in a local environment? Have you checked console?
-
I dont understand your problem. Maybe translate from your language to english so it can become clearer.
The banner is right there and is linked to zone "example zone"
What isnt showing up?
-
I think the best option would be to check the server logs then. Have you checked it?

Hum, If you'd like send me the link through private and I'll take a look. Usually the bugs show up on console.

Hi brent,
Yes, those are three different zones. (zone is the place where you want ads to appear, in your case 3 individual zones). So you need to create 3.
If the creatives (the images) are all the same you can just link a single banner to three different zones. And then you copy the code for each and paste.
Were you able to at least see the ad in your website?
I'm not sure they offer support, maybe try reading the docs it's pretty good. The hosted version is the same.

I see all sorts of documentation and I'm sure my eyes must be failing me, but how do I add advertisements to the web pages on my website (hosted edition)?
Can you add html code to your website? All that you need is to copy the invocation code and and paste it in your website source code. What cms platform are you using?

I don't think the problem is in the subdomain.
Maybe not... there's an update coming in September though.

(1) I didn't know how to reach them out there.
(2) Yes, same error either i logged in or not.
(3) Nope, there is no settings available and i can't see an option for creating ads.
(4) Yes, i have purged the cache but nothing changed.
There is no real help in this forum, so i wondering what is the purpose of it.
The forum is kind of dead. Your root domain is redirecting to another domain, is that correct? Have you tried installing revive on a subdomain like ads.c7sales.com?

Nope,
Still looking for help.
Hi,
(1)Have you tried contacting support at stackpath?
(2)After logging in, do you still have the same error on dashboard?
(3)Are you able to save anything (like saving an ad creative or a setting)?
(4)Have you purged the cache from the cdn?

I think it might be just to over impose a layer for clicking. Just put the external URL the banner directs to.

Currently it's necessary to add the prefix "data-revive-[variable]=[value]" for every variable that is available when delivering through asynchronous js. It would be awesome if it could work with multiple variables in a single call: something like data-revive-variables={variable1:value1;variable2:value2;variable3:value3}. Currently I have about 11 variables for each page and it would be more manageable if we could write it all in a single attribute;
Thanks,
Revive is awesome!

What I can suggest is to create another subdomain for https://www.editriceindustriale.it (but don't use "ad" or any other related word). And set the dns record for this new subdomain to the server where revive is installed. I'm not sure how revive manages dns at the website level but if you're serving ads to other websites through https://ads.myadv.org you may need to change the url inside the script to your new subdomain.
Also, do you have matomo running inside any page/path on that subdomain? Maybe matomo is trying to run a script inside your ads.

Have you added the secondVar onto the rules in Revive Adserver? Try changing the logic (or/and)

Hmm... I can see that you are using fixed CSS values for the image. Have you tried with using percentages instead e.g. 100%?
Not sure if that will work but using relative values instead might work. You sure won't lose anything by testing it.
The parent div (.container) of the ad has fixed width but the image cannot be specified to have percentages. Do you mean to apply percentage to all images in css on my webpage instead of revive dashboard( img{ width:100%;height:auto;})? That would work but then the css would apply to all images on my website. You gave me an idea to give attribute to ad on revive alt="resp" and than select on css img[alt=resp]{width:100%;height:auto} on my webpage... hum... that would work.

The whole zone is response so in theory it should work. I mostly use Adsense so I don't work much with images. I tested in the past some affiliate ads which was image banners and it worked fine. I've ditched the affiliate stuff though because it was not very profitable.
Try and set up an ad test zone and run some of your image in it. It should work fine, but you will of course see it when you run the test for yourself. :-)Yeah, doesn't work as you can see on the screenshot on my previous message. I still hope they will eventually release a feature for responsiveness though. But thank you again @AngryWarrior

Hi @AngryWarrior, thanks for the response. But does it work with images? The zone has the asterisks, but the image still displays the original size, not the size of the container.
Best.

Hi @MikeMynis
You can make the zone responsive instead.
You set stars * in the zone sizes and the responsive ads will actually size up or down by themselves as in the below screenshot. However you cannot for now set the banners as responsive. It's a long waited feature.
Any updates on that topic by the way @andrewatfornax please? ?
Kind regards
AngryWarrior@AngryWarrior does this still work? I can't make them responsive (to scale to the width of the container).
-
Is it possible to serve ads in a responsive way to full width of the container width and automatic height? So for example, if an ad image has size 500x700. If I put this ad inside a div that has width 250px, can the ad display the full width of the container (250px) and adjust the height to 350x?
I tried putting * on width and height of banner zone but didn't work.

Hi @andrewatfornax,
We (business) have been using OnlyMega (adserver) for a few months and today we decided to try RA. Unfortunately the only problem is the lack of responsiveness (100% width). In our case, we use HTML5 banners made on Google Web Designer. All of our ads are responsive but revive doesn't natively support it. On OnlyMega, we're able to just select a checkbox with "reponsive" and the ad works nicely by adjusting height to 100% width. In any case, i've read all the discussions and I see this is a long term issue. I/my company wouldn't mind becoming patreon supporters (actually if we used revive it would save a few thousand dollars per year) but at the moment it just doesn't make sense for us because our website is extremely depentent on the screen size... I've read the "missing features" page and I don't know what to expect. Should I donate and wait indefinitely for it? What is the best course of action?
Anyway, revive 99% awesome...
Thank you, regards.
