Hi, what is high traffic for you? :)

We have 1.500.000.000 impressions with 600.000.000 blank impressions, which totals in 800.000.000 banner impressions per month.

Our server has 48 cores and 126GB of RAM

Our disk is almost 50% idle.

What would be the treshold for memcache?

Are you currently using disk cache or Memcache? What problems are you experiencing?

  2. Majority of our customers use our hardware end traffic filtering to detect and filter suspicious traffic. The device learns the interaction of the visitor with ad system and if it detects any suspicious activity it will initiate a block. This is done through the use of Cisco, WatchGuard, Corero, and RioRey. You could try looking at CloudFlare ;)

  3. Looks like an issue with caching on your server possibly. Do you have anything related with caching installed on your server such as Memcache, APC, Nginx, etc...?

Also I highly advise running Revive in CentOS with Apache/Nginx. You should not be using suPHP for Revive as this will cause a major performance degerdation. suPHP may be more secure, but so long as you are not using 777 permissions there is no need to use suPHP, as the performance hit pretty big.
