Fabrizio Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) Hi All, have you any suggestion about how to set "Roadblock"? Currently this feature can not be managed in Revive Adserver. Thanks, Fabrizio Edited November 7, 2016 by Erik Geurts Corrected product name spelling
Erik Geurts Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 We have a different term for it, it is called "companion positioning".
Fabrizio Posted November 7, 2016 Author Report Posted November 7, 2016 I saw that this function is shown but, anyway, i can not provide simultaneously two banners of the same campaign.
Erik Geurts Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Yes, you can, that is exactly what companion positioning is designed for.
Fabrizio Posted November 7, 2016 Author Report Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) It means that, i can set a master and slave Ad(for ex. 728x90 master and 300x250 slave? Providing both in the same page at the same time? Maybe something has changed in the last few months? From OpenX: Turning on companion positioning ensure that when one banner on a page is from a campaign, then all subsequent banners on the page will be from the same campaign. this is not what I need. Erik Geurts Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 This functionality has existed for at least a decade.
Fabrizio Posted November 7, 2016 Author Report Posted November 7, 2016 it work only like this? Turning on companion positioning ensure that when one banner on a page is from a campaign, then all subsequent banners on the page will be from the same campaign.
Erik Geurts Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Yes. That's exactly what you asked for.
Fabrizio Posted November 7, 2016 Author Report Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) I'm asking to have two or more adv served together, now it is not like this Edited November 7, 2016 by Fabrizio
Erik Geurts Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 If you read the description in full, that's exactly what is going to happen. This will be my last reply to this question, as it has already been answered in full (multiple times in fact).
Fabrizio Posted November 7, 2016 Author Report Posted November 7, 2016 Well, openx info button doesn't say that. anyway... that's exactly what is going to happen >> When?
Erik Geurts Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 You're at a forum about Revive Adserver, we replaced 'openx' over 3 years ago.
