UndeadSauron
Hi, can Revive connect to memcached via a linux socket?
Snoork Hosting
Yes, Revive can connect to Memcached. You will need to have the Memcached extension installed on the server and simply enable Memcached inside Revive. Don't forget to optimize Memcached on the server to make sure you get the best possible performance.

Ian vM
Again a fast response, no it is not as far as I know you can just use TCP sockets with memcache(d) in combination with revive.

Can you provide any tips or links to relevant material on optimizing Memcached for performance in high load environment? Thanks.
Ian vM
The 'only' thing you can do is tweaking the memcached settings in the configuration file, mine looks like this : PORT="11211" USER="memcached" MAXCONN="8192" CACHESIZE="16" OPTIONS=""
