knofun Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 Hi, I have some code from an adserver that requires a cachebuster random number. Is there a way to do that in revive? I vaguely remember it being something like [randomnumber] or something. Quote
Dave Brain Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Hi, By default In revive adserver, cache-buster will add along with ads destination URL. No need to pass separately. This is sample cachebuster ("cb") already passing on revive adserver, http://yourdomain.com/revive/www/delivery/ck.php?oaparams=2__bannerid=2__zoneid=1__cb=5de1424335__oadest=http%3A%2F%test.com%2F Quote
knofun Posted August 11, 2014 Author Report Posted August 11, 2014 I meant in the ad network's code, not in the revive invocation code. I am calling revive via iframe and the network's code is stored as an html banner. Do you mean revive will edit the html banner and add a cachebuster value? Thanks for the response! Quote
Dave Brain Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 Hi, For third-party tags(other adnetwork tags), mostly they will add "cb" value. Revive adserver will not add this automatically and also we can't customize to add cachebuster value. Quote
