plenty Posted February 26, 2015 Report Share Posted February 26, 2015 I'm currently using Hostgator (shared business server), have changed the permission on all the folders below to 777, setup a new mysql database and user (with all privileges). chmod -R a+w /revive/var chmod -R a+w /revive/var/cachechmod -R a+w /revive/var/pluginschmod -R a+w /revive/var/templates_compiledchmod -R a+w /revive/pluginschmod -R a+w /revive/www/admin/pluginschmod -R a+w /revive/www/images However I'm stuck at the installation Step 2. After the typing the correct database name, host, username and password, it leads back to the welcome page again. Have tried many times. Any tips? I can install it no problem on my localhost. imnotsure Posted February 27, 2015 Report Share Posted February 27, 2015 I havent run into this issue yet, but u sure u using the database name with the account prefix infront the database name and username of it since its a shared environment?
