  1. I was thinking of something very similar*, but have not yet found the time to try it out. One possibility would be using an Iframe. But of course, this also adds another request. * My use case is for WordPress: We cache the rendered pages, but I would like to include a block similar to yours to show featured or most-read posts (I know there are plugins for this, but most of them do not work properly with caching. Delivering these recommended blog posts via Revive would solve several problems in our setup). PS: Funny to meet you here, I have been following you on Twitter for some time, due to my interest in web performance
  2. We sometimes see certain bots crawling our website, thereby also sending HEAD requests on banner links (HEAD requests are like a normal HTTP GET request, but request only the HTTP header and not the actual body). Revive counts the HEAD requests like normal clicks on the buttons leading to very high click number, CTR on those days. Is there an option in Revive to disable counting HEAD requests? If not: Does anyone see a legitimate reason to allow HEAD requests at all on Revive banners? Otherwise we could block them already on the web server.
  3. I searched the forum and the web, but did not find the answer: Which zone type do I have to chose for a HTML5 banner? The documentation says that "Banner, Button or Rectangle" was good for "Generic HTML banners" but what about HTML5 banners, which or otherwise explained separately. Specifically, I would like to know if we can allow a customer to send and HTML5-Zip with HTML for a zone which normally shows a Medium Rectangle image. Or if we would have to create a separate zone. Thanks. PS: Maybe the documentation could be updated to include the info on zones in connection with HTML5 banners, e.g. https://documentation.revive-adserver.com/display/DOCS/HTML5+banners https://documentation.revive-adserver.com/display/DOCS/Creating+a+Zone https://www.revive-adserver.com/how-to/create-an-html5-ad/ https://www.revive-adserver.com/how-to/create-a-zone/
