[Help with failed (?) upgrade from 3.2.4 -> 4.0]

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I noticed that Revive has a new version in my Softaculous one click installation on my web hosting. I took a backup before I did the upgrade, ran the upgrade script there to version 4. However, despite ads still serving fine, any time I try and access my admin panel, it is autodirecting me to install.php, and giving me a file not found error.

So I'm wondering what the best way to downgrade Revive 4 -> 3.2.4, so I can attempt to do the upgrade again. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

 

Your best bet is to set the campaign weight as 100 (as your base) and then use that instead of 1. So if you have higher, it'll show more frequently and less it'll show less.

I tried to do marcis's suggestion

 

You can get this error if your config file in ./var/*.conf.php isnt writable, change to 777 will fix it.

 

But when I go into var, I don't have any .php files

 

I'm installing from a brand new install, on a fresh server, so any help would be appreciated.
