[PHP Timeout On Install]

Is There a workaround to this error:

timeout

The PHP function set_time_limit() has been disabled and max_execution_time is set to 60 which may cause problems with functionality such as maintenance

 

I am on shared hosting so the php.ini cannot be changed.

I'm struggling to understand how I place more than one banner in one place on my website, ive tried to search the forums here and been round the internet 3 times!!

 

So at the moment I've got one banner set up on my site. the banner is my own and on click it goes to one of my internal pages which is great but what if I need to add another banner from a new advertiser next week how do I make it so the ad rotates? also each time I have a new customer do i need to copy and re paste the code please could some one explain in not too technical detail
