  3. Ok, Installation Completed - Now What?

    i really need some help guys. 

     

    where do i start?  i have several banners ready to go. i selected banners, and i created zones.  

     

    and i tried adding this banner code to my sidebar, but doesn't work...

    i need some tips.   is there a reading material?   step by step tutorial?  

     

     

    please help!!  i spent way too much time trying to fix the installation problem...  i need some guidance...

    hi, 

     

    so i managed get the installation going, but i get this message.

     

    Fatal error: Class 'OA_Dal_Maintenance_Common' not found in /nfs/c06/h08/mnt/183829/domains/coolspaces DOT tv/html/revive/lib/OA/Dal/Maintenance/Priority.php on line 47

     

     

    i can browse around, but whenever i click banner or campaign i get this message in white blank page. 

     

    any idea what's going on?  

     

     

  7. Total Noob Here.. Revive Installation Problem

    ok, I successfully migrated the website to a new host - Media Temple. 

     

     

     

    but...

     

    I still get the same error message.

     so i contacted media temple and asked if they can help me.  

     

    this is what they wrote back to me

     

     

    It appears as though there is an application level error taking place when the admin area is loaded. The file failing to complete is on this path:

     

    /home/183829/domains/coolspaces DOT tv/html/adserver/www/admin/install.php

     

    The error I am seeing is as follows:

     

    Revive Adserver was called via the command line, but had no host as a parameter.

     

    You can take a look at the error logs on the server to get more information on this issue. The logs have yet to be enabled on this server, so I turned them on for you. They will now start recording data about this issue. 

     

     

    ok, so what am i doing wrong?  i have no idea how to fix this... please help!! thx in advance!

    hi total noob represent

     

    i have to install an openx adserver.  this is my first time and i don't know how to do it.  and while i was browsing and trying to get info - i found revive.

     

    my question

     

    1. are they basically same thing?  any advantages of revive?

    2. i was told to use openx - does it matter if i go with revive?

    3. i'm having a trouble with openx   -  http://goo.gl/zObjr2    why i don't see the registration page?   i was following this  http://docs.nexcess.net/article/installing-openx-ad-server.html

    4. should i just ditch the openx and go with revive?

     

     

    help!   need to get this done by tuesday!   thx in advance!
