Ondřej Cháb Posted July 24, 2024 Report Posted July 24, 2024 Hello, I am having trouble upgrading a selfhosted version for a client. I am not familiar with Revive Adserver, but I've been given this task to do. After what seemed to be a successful upgrade, I was able to navigate through the administration interface. It indicated that we are running v5.5.2 on nginx 1.14.2, PHP 7.4.25, and MySQL 5.5.5-10.3.27-MariaDB-0+deb10u1. After a while (about 15 minutes), ads stopped working on click, resulting only in a blank white page. After logging out of the administration, no one could log in again. The error message said: An error occurred while accessing the database Due to a problem with a database Revive Adserver couldn't retrieve or store data. After switching back to the previous version, without any rollbacks within the database, it started to work again. I've enabled DEBUG level logging, but can't see anything useful in log. The database seems to be working alright, even run a mysqlcheck on it. Any suggestions please? At lease where to look for some clues. Quote
