How do I lock the config file?

I set the file to read-only. However, I still get an error message stating that this may cause security issues.  Please give me a step-by-step guide.  I am a novice at best. I was told by my server provider that the permission is set to 644.

I'm having the same issue with PHP 8.2 PHP-FPM. The file is 644, I tried 444... No dice...

 

This script must still be maintained because it works on PHP 8.x......
