andrewatfornax Posted April 24, 2019 Report Posted April 24, 2019 You say, trying to install the update... Just to clarify, are you trying to perform a clean install, or are you trying to upgrade an existing installation? Quote
chrisA Posted April 24, 2019 Author Report Posted April 24, 2019 It's an upgrade of an existing installation. Quote

Hello, Yesterday, I updated my installation of revive-adserver, from version 4.1.4 to version 4.2.0, after uploading the new files no update screen appeared, and I have not seen any error message or problem in the application, the only detail is the message in the update section (www/admin/updates-product.php): He is currently using Revive Adserver v4.2.0 (warning: database is stamped as v4.1.4) running under Apache, PHP 7.1.14 and MySQL 5.6.41-84.1. Sorry my english is bad. Saludos :-) ... Quote
Erik Geurts Posted April 26, 2019 Report Posted April 26, 2019 That is not the correct process for upgrading. You should not just upload the new files overwriting the existing files. The upgrade process is described in full detail here: https://www.revive-adserver.com/support/upgrading/ Quote

In that case, I would ask that you please double-check the upgrade instructions - it looks to me like you were maybe performing a clean install, but trying to do that into an existing database, instead of taking the required steps to get Revive Adserver to recognise that it's an upgrade, rather than a clean install. HTH! Quote
