Using PHPCode inside append ?

im new using revive adserver ... 
currently im trying to put php code inside the banner , is it possible ?
i already setting Allow PHP code in banners to be executed inside Banner Delivery Settings

but the result is php code i write becoming comment in html ..

Not sure, but this might only work if it's a localmode invocation tag?

And it definitely won't work in the append code, if that's what you mean (as per the title of the topic).
