Start with "local" Banners?

Hi
I will start with an local system. I installed the current Version on my local Webserver together with an PHPBB Forum who will work as an Test System.
I have 5 different Toppics:
1) Bus
2) Train
3) Airlines
4) Hotel
5) other

So how does it work?

I upload one Banner and created an Iframe.
And what do I see? Nothing!

Here is the Code for the Iframe:

The Forum software here realy sucks....
Can someone explane to me how the system work? The German Translation dont make so much sense all time.

 

EDIT: Now the Banner show on the Homepage?! I dont know why the dont show before....

Can someone emplane to me how I can make different Banners? Like whats first?

So I created 6 more Banner and try to add it to my Page butt he dont work.

1) I know its a "luxury problem" but what I have to change to change the Folder Name?
I try to change it but the Server dont work after. Is the Server Path in the SQL Database? Now Its contains the word "adserver" and 99% of the System block the URL by default...

2) Its possible to cache the Ads and load the image from the local domain to prevent it from blocking?
Or maybe copy it into the "local" Image folder from the Main Webpage?!

"192.168.1.102/rv/www/images" what kind of images the would save there?
3) Does the Server download the IP / Country file automaticly when the Geotargeting Module Type  is activated?

1. I don't believe there is anything in the database that relates to the installation path. The only things that are relevant are a) your webserver configuration and b) the Revive Adserver configuration file in Revive Adserver's var/ directory.

2. What do you mean by "the local domain"?

www/images is where Revive Adserver stores the banner media files that you upload, by default. You can change this.

3. No, but each release we make, we include the most recent free country IP database from MaxMind. If you want the more accurate, paid version, or any other IP database from MaxMind, then you will need to get those separately.
