Can't make changes after moving, can't upgrade

I am currently using Revive Adserver v3.2.1 running on Apache 2.4.18, PHP 5.4.45 and MySQL 5.5.49-cll.

I moved my installation from one folder to another on same server...

/old/adserver
to
/new/adserver

after move everything seems to work fine except when I try to make changes as default user, I get...
"You don't have access to that page. You have been re-directed."

I thought I would upgrade to 3.24. When I try upgrade I get welcome screen, settings check OK, then login screen. When I attempt to login it takes me back to welcome screen.

Have you made the corresponding changes to the folder names in the configuration file (to be found in the 'var' folder)?

Turns out it was a redirect rule in .htaccess that was stripping /new from URLs.
