Using http://tools.pingdom.com, it recommends:

 

The following resources are missing a cache validator. Resources that do not specify a cache validator cannot be refreshed efficiently. Specify a Last-Modified or ETag header to enable cache validation for the following resources:

The following publicly cacheable, compressible resources should have a "Vary: Accept-Encoding" header:

I hope this makes sense and that you can implement this somehow on future releases. Thanks.

Erm - don't all the delivery files (not the creatives!) deliberately go to some effort to avoid being cached by browsers, to ensure that on each page load, the script is loaded fully from the server, to ensure correct delivery of the right ad, and correct logging?

I agree, the only file that should have this is fl.js, the rest should do their best not to be cached.

 

We should remember that tools.pingdom.com (even though it's a great tool, and I'm a loyal paying Pingdom customer even), is not always right.
