Banners Still Appear Although Campaign Outdated Or Impression Limit Reached

I just noticed that for a Remnant priced test-campaign banners still appear although I set a passed date or an already reached limit.

 

I use direct selection.

 

Did I misconfigure the system?

I just noticed, that also when I deactivate a banner. Strangely it is still shown.

Same problem with contract campaigns. I definitively miss soemething.

Hi,

      You can clear to chache and check it again or go to Configuration --> Banner Delivery Settings --> Banner Delivery Cache Settings, and reduce the time limit.

I already tried that. Now, I also created new campaigns and tried with zones, but no banner at all appears anymore.

Maybe I broke my installation.

Just to close that topic. I reinstalled the system and now indeed banners show up again.

 

Still problems with direct selection, but this is another topic ;-)

I have a feeling that, depending how the direct selection has been configured, the code may well happily ignore anything like if the campaign is active or has limits or not, and deliver the banner(s) that you've said you really want to deliver.

 

Can you provide more details on how you're doing the direct selection please?
