RodrigoF Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 Some days ago, we started getting attacked by malicious bots, who click all of our banners, producing CTR% to be way higher than normal. Google Analytics registers visits with just 1 second duration and highest bounce rate. Our banners are invoked via Javascript. We tested removing the <noscript> part of the code, but nothing happened. Is there anything else we can do to prevent bots from clicking the served banners? Thank you! Quote

RodrigoF Posted February 19, 2014 Author Report Posted February 19, 2014 Hey @elizarao thanks for the reply. We are having CTR% for banners from about 1,98% to 4% when normal CTR% is around 0,20% and 0,30% Anyway we need to find a way to prevent them from clicking, or from adserver to redirect them to the real advertiser URL Quote
