blowfish
Hi there. i try to update my openx to version 3.0.2. the error i get is: Configuration of your webserver does not meet the requirements of the Revive Adserver. openx/www/images Directory must be writeable but it is writeable, all the directories are set with permission 777. what is the problem? thanks for your help
cerikpete
Not sure why 777 wouldn't work, but did you do the specific chmod that's in the documentation? chmod -R a+w www/images
blowfish
i do it with filezilla not with linux, but should be the same effect i guess. so i can´t update my openx if i could not change this permissions. the other directories are ok and image directory has the same permissions like var or something. any ideas how can i fix this? thanks hmm, couldn´t send any screenshots
Andrius
Hi, I am having exact same issue with permissions. 3 are ok and 4 with errors, while I am sure I've changed the permissions for all of them. Any idea why that's the case? http://screencast.com/t/iDNP8fmt
dalken
Hi, As anyone solved this issue ? I have the same problem but only for the www/images/ folder eventhough I can see all files and subfolders are writable (777) Cheers
Dave Brain
Hi, If we change permissions via FTP or cPanel, it will not affect correct permissions. Instead of this, we need to do via SSH (PUTTY Shell access). Execute command of which directory not in right permissions. Ex : chmod -R a+w www/images This will give solution for permission issues. TKList
I had to deactivate my iThemes Security plugin in Wordpress for it to work. I have to do that every time I update Revive-Adserver. andrewatfornax
