phil38
Hi, I was trying to upgrade Openx v2.8.11 running on apache 2.2.19, PHP 5.2.13 and Mysql 5. The upgrade process is going well but when I try to access the admin area of the old installation (adserver) or the new one (adserver_new), a fatal error is sent back. According to the logs lib/pear/PEAR.php uses too much memory (it seems that PEAR.php is called in the dashboard.php script). To solve this issue, I have to restore the backup of MYSQL datasbase. Do you know what this issue could be ? Best regards Philippe
lkranz
Hi Philippe, I had the same problem. Restoring database "solved" the problem, but if you go to configuration->product update it shows another error (something like: "You currently using Revive Adserver 3.0.2 - database is stemped as 2.8.11" and "unable to look for updates"). How did you solve THIS problem? Hope to hear from you soon (this post is the only one I found on the www which go into my problem) Best regards Lisa
phil38
Lisa, Sorry but I did not succeeded to solve the issue. So I am still running OpenX v2.8.11 and I have removed www/delivery/axmlrpc.php as suggested at http://www.revive-adserver.com/security/revive-sa-2013-001/ Best regards Philippe
andrewatfornax
To fix this issue, I would expect that you need to allocate more memory to PHP in the php.ini file, given that PHP is running out of memory!
