michal
Hi I enabled the geo targeting setting and created 2 banners per zone, one for US and one for all the others. When I am changing my IP to US (using Hide my ass) I am still getting the other banner.. I am using Revive Adserver v3.2.1 & MaxMind GeoIP Plugin 1.3.3 HELP! PS, I'm checking it with regular ifame saved on my local PC.

michal
calling: isset($_COOKIE["PHPSESSID"]) returns 1, is that all I should check?
Matteo Beccati
Sorry, what I meant is that the geotargeting plugin caches the information in a session cookie (that doesn't survive a browser restart). If you are testing anon proxies etc, make sure you don't use the same browser for your tests.
michal
can I disable that the session cookie? (I know it will affect my performance but I still need it..)
Matteo Beccati
can I disable that the session cookie? (I know it will affect my performance but I still need it..) There use to be a similar feature, but I can't find it ATM. It looks like it was removed by accident, perhaps when the plugin framework was added.
