Upgrade Php Version For Malware In V3.0.5

Hi,

 

Running Revive v3.0.5

 

dedicated linux server

 

Apache 2.2.13

 

PHP 5.2.11

 

MySQL 5.1.38

 

I Need upgrade to revive 3.2.1 due a malware detected in v3.0.5

 

I have try to upgrade, but system says: NEED php 5.3

 

My server provider can´t change php version.

 

It´s possible upgrade to revive 3.2.1 with my server versions??

 

If not possible, how to desinfect malware detected??

Just upgrading your installation is not going to solve this, you should first clean out the injected malicious files, because otherwise they will just be moved along into the upgraded instance.

There are some kind of prevent malware?

 

I always have FTP service deactivated.

To answer the other question:

 

PHP 5.3 *is* required. You cannot upgrade without it.

PHP 5.2 stopped being supported back in 2011. Your hosting provider should upgrade your server for you if that's what they are still providing.

i can help you, but before i need to know about your hosting, are you using Shared hosting or VPS ?
