BravoEchoN
Hi, Is it possible to make the iframe invocation codes friendly iframes (i.e. where the iframes are on the same domain as the main page)? Is it possible for these iframes to support expanding ads and ads of different sizes? This is the case with Google DFP (see - https://support.google.com/dfp_sb/answer/181071). Note this topic on asynchronous loading is related: http://forum.revive-adserver.com/topic/9-asynchronous-loading/page-2?hl=asyc#entry2519 Thanks for your help. Erik Geurts
Revive Adserver v3.2.0 (a beta was released recently) has a new feature: asynchronous javascript tags. See also: http://www.revive-adserver.com/blog/beta-version-of-revive-adserver-v3-2-0-released/ Do note, though, that expanding ads will never be possible, in case of iframes (even friendly iframes). BravoEchoN
Hi Erik, Thanks for your reply. Asynchronous Javascript tags are an awesome new feature - looking forward to trying this out. According to this support article from Google dfp, their friendly iframes allow expanding ads to work (I don't understand how this works though) https://support.google.com/dfp_sb/answer/181071 Thanks for your help. Erik Geurts
That article you linked to is related to DFP. not Revive Adserver. dJAX
BravoEchoN
Hi Erik, Yes, I linked to the DFP article since it details that their friendly iframes allow expanding ads. I didn't understand how this worked and so thought you would understand it better. As far as I'm aware it's up to the ad creative vendor to support this (other wise an iframe bursting file is needed). Do you have any further insights into this? Either way async js will be an awesome feature and will help speed up my website so that's awesome. Thanks for your help and development. mikemat
Friendly iframe with expandable ads - must be feature for me. Can you append this feature to the Revive ?
