augustus_meyer Posted January 19, 2015 Report Share Posted January 19, 2015 Hi, I am looking for a smart PHP-guy (good knowledge of JS will be advantage)to cooperate in development of an appliance for distribution of ads to free hotspots. Actually, I have already a basic system up and running, to be used with open-mesh.com equipment, Mikrotik, Ruckus, Voyage, and a cloud-based server, running Revive. Other Linux-based hotspots easy to integrate as well. The Revive serves ads (actually graphics only, next will be flash), which are injected into the users browsing session, as layered ads. Either full-screen on top of (dimmed) visited page, or as a "crawler". (Adaptive design already) Actually, I either think about joint development of a cloud-based service, into which owners of hotspots can integrate their WiFi and deliver own ads, like "Next weeks specials", OR preparation of a complete cloud based system, for WISPs to sponsor free hotspots by third-party ads. As I also have social login available for open-mesh, MT etc., it is also possible to do reselling of HW with special FW for ads/splash page.
