mike
I did a search for this issue, but couldn't find anyone else with this issue. Installing on a BlueHost Server. Gave full permissions to the username i created for this DB. Logged into my wp-admin (didn't think i would need to, but after this error did just in case).Still getting: 403 Permission Denied You do not have permission for this request /adserver/www/admin/install.php Thanks for any help, Mike

rjhoward
I am having the same problem. Did you ever figure it out? I checked file ownerships and permissions and they all seem OK.
motowebmaster
Your file permissions for revive need to match those required by your webserver, not the database username. When you look at the ownership of your Wordpress files, do the revive adserver files appear the same?
kpmedia
Did you FTP the files, or FTP the zip and unzip on-server? The former sets permissions properly, while the latter does not. Common problem.
TKList
I had to deactivate my iThemes Security plugin in Wordpress for it to work. I have to do that every time I update Revive-Adserver.
rjhoward
My problem ended up being an issue with .htaccess. I was using one suggested by Perishable Press, but it caused too many problems.
JLinux
what was the content of the .htaccess that solved your problem?
