Htaccess Remove Index.php Causing Issues With Revive

Recommended Posts

I have an issue where my site that requires hiding index.php form URLs is causing 404's with Revive files that have -index.php at the end. (which are the main ones)

Is there a way to work around this issue that anyone knows of? I tried numerous things I found searching the web but nothing seems to be working at all.

This is the main directory's htaccess:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
        RewriteEngine On
        RewriteBase /

        # Removes index.php from URLs
        RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^GET.*index\.php [NC]
        RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/system/.* [NC]
        RewriteRule (.*?)index\.php/*(.*) /$1$2 [R=301,NE,L]

        # Directs all web requests through the site index file
        RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
        RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
        RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L]
</IfModule>
