Tareq Posted September 10, 2014 Report Share Posted September 10, 2014 We have been having problems within our Revive adserver, as we came across the following problem many times, we have tried to overcome in different ways, and some of which weren’t successful. After creating a campaign, and creating a new ad within it. If I give it a limitation, for example, Geo Country limitation, and choose “any of” Jordan, the banner will still appear everywhere in the world, and also in Jordan. Meaning, the limitation hasn’t worked (this used to work in OpenX). To overcome this problem, I must create a channel, that contains geo country targeting, and within it “any of” of Jordan. Make sure you have GeoIP installed in the server, have the latest MaxMind GeoIP country database loaded, and your patch is set correctly to the GeoIP country database.
