stardotstar
Hi all, I have made the jump from what was becoming a bit of a flakey 2.8.x install to the 3.0.5 and the process was smooth and straightforward with the excellent documentation. I have done this a few times with the older openx so I get the general handling of the system - my images are in a different directory and I have all permissions correct as far as I know. What I need to do however is purge stale, old or redundant images/ads from the system. They are all in the filesystem as I ran the process to remove them after the upgrade - there were some in fact in the db. But now I have the images directory in which there is an images directory and so forth so I want to try and purge/clean this up. Can anyone tell me of a way to determine which ads are in use and which are orphaned? Regards, Will
andrewatfornax
Hi @stardotstar,Ouch, this won't be fun. I think the only way you could do this would be to compare the filenames of all the images against the contents of the banners table, looking at the contents of the filename column.Doing that with a script would be the most effective way.
