  1. I have installed Revive Adserver and added a standard HTML ad banner created in Google Web Designer. It is a HTML file with a part: <a href='((target__URL))' target='_top'><gwd-taparea id="klik" class="gwd-taparea-wjps gwd-gen-ceuwgwdanimation" ></gwd-taparea></a> In "((target__URL))" i have an actual link to a landing page. When my ad is displayed and i click on this field i get redirected to target URL. Also in reports i see impressions of the banner. But i do not get any click reports. In the ad type i choose "general HTML banner": http://polishwords.com.pl/blog/wp-content/screenshotUploads/2014-12-29_12-14-26.jpg I considered also to change to "DoubleClick/DFP" but will it help? How to track clicks for the HTML banner? Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi all :) I need to know if I can use Revive for tracking campaings with Google and Bing Ads. I would like to figure out what keywords are making conversions. Is it possible with this tool? Also, is it possible to use it with affiliate marketing (using platforms like Zanox, Affilinet and so on)? Thanks a lot in advance
  3. Hello I am using revive for html5 self hosted banners, and there was an issue how to track clicks when we are using iframe. I found for me some solution, which may be will help somebody also. The mine problem is: We can't use {clickurl} because the link to target website is in self hosted banner and revive can't see it by iframe. The idea: Pass {clickurl} result url from revive to self hosted banner by iframe src parameter and dynamically change banner's target link. Revive generic banner code: In self hosted banner: This is working for me and I will be happy if it can help somebody also.

  5. Hi, Where do we set to select between "Click Based" or "Impression Based" tracking. Based on the cookies, we're only seeing "Impression Based" tracking currently. Not sure how or where to activate "Click Based" tracking. Thanks,
  6. For whatever reason, clicks (via ck.php) don't seem to be tracking in my adserver. The zone tags all display properly, and the click passes through to the correct destination URL via the 'ck.php' delivery script. I've tried: a) enabling the global debug log --> No delivery or impression warnings/notices b ) repairing the stats via the republish & other maintenance tool scripts--no errors in the debug log c) checking `rv_data_intermediate_ad' (no clicks registered)... `rv_data_bkt_r` and `rv_data_bkt_m` (the impression tables) look fine, but `rv_data_bkt_c` is empty d) verified the existence and functionality of the GeoIP plugin (+ php C lib extension) So... not quite sure what to do next. For whatever reason the instance appears to be set up and configured properly, however the compiled click delivery script is somehow failing to log to the DB but without any INSERT errors as I would expect. Any advice? Is there some parameter perhaps that's being caught in a conditional thus causing the click to not register? For what it's worth, this is a development environment with no IP or other restrictions set.
  7. Hello, I´m newbie on Revive Adserver and I like to implement server-side conversion tracking without cookies. But I have many doubts and I´m sure there is a proper way. My initial thinking was sending a clickid (or transactionid or context, sorry I don´t know the macro name) to our landing page, and when a conversion happen, a different server requests to revive server with that info. Is it possible? If that it´s not possible, do you think I could send all cookies values to our landing page and create a new page in revive-server that it receives these values when a conversion happen. And then that page requests to delivery/ti.php (or other page) with right cookies generated? Do you think if revive checks IPs or others to validate the conversion? In that case I couldn´t use that workaround. Thanks in advance, and sorry for my bad english
  8. I would like the ability to do simple campaign click to conversion tracking. Essentially this would be just creating a campaign with the "creative" being only a URL. A pixel is then generated to place on the appropriate page, or possibly a post-back URL. I've tried doing this by just using the href of a campaign however it does not track properly. I assume it has something to do with the cookie not being set from the creative. Does anyone know how to accomplish this if it can already be done, or is there a plugin out there either free or commercial that can do this? If no I would like to submit as a feature request. Thanks!
  9. I'd like to be able to pass a tracking ID to each and every instance of an ad. That tracking ID would be unique to the visit and created at the time of the visit so it would be dynamic. This helps me track a conversion back to a single visit and thus a particular keyword/etc (for PPC campaigns). It is important in my biz to be able to track every conversion back to a visit. (Primarily for fraud and PPC refinement reasons.) The only way I can figure out how to do it is to create an intermediate PHP page which creates a unique ID and passes that ID to the ad in question. Obviously that is less then ideal. Any other suggestions? Thanks
  10. I am attempting to make Revive work for me in a somewhat different use case. I want to be able to display rotating banner ads but I also have forms that I want the ad server to serve up. That way, as they change, they can be easily updated in the ad server rather than at every site. I've got the ad server serving up the form without much issue. I've also added some visitor tracking code as a prepend to the Zone. This code essentially grabs everything in the PHP Global variables of $_REQUEST and $_SERVER. However, what I've done before using Revive is to have the visitor tracking code create a unique ID for each visit (using md5), the visitor file is saved with the name {uniqID}.visit, that unique ID is saved to the $_SERVER variable as $_SERVER['uniqID'], and the unique ID is passed to the form via URL query parameter like http://form.com/form1?id=<?php echo $_SERVER['uniqID]; ?>. When I pull in the form like this <iframe .... src="http://form.com/form1?id=<?php echo $_SERVER['uniqID']; ?>></iframe> as part of the page then everything works and has for years now. However, when I use this same iframe code as banner code the PHP does not execute so every id param is the un-executed string <?php echo $_SERVER['uniqID']; ?>. Ultimately I need to be able to pass an id to most of the things I display. And I typically want that ID to be dynamic (i.e. created by PHP via md5 at the time of the visit) so that I can sync the site visits to my conversions, partials form fills, etc. It seems hard to believe I'd be the first one to want to be able to do something like this. Any suggestions on how I pass a dynamic tracking string from the revive ad server request to the form revive is serving?
