  1. Hi, I'm trying to target Android devices with setting banner delivery limitation to "Client - useragent" contains "android" and setting the campaign as contract. If I do this with iPhone, it works perfectly. However with Android, I'm seeing other campaigns which has none delivery limitations and are set as remnant. Any idea what's wrong here? Thanks
  2. Hello, I would like to configure banners for a mobile campaign with a delivery limitation linked to screen size (user in landscape or portrait). I have got 2 banners : 320x480 for portrait and 480x320 for landscape. How can i configure them please ? Thank you, Thomas

  4. Hi, I wanted to ask what the easiest way is to do mobile targeting? I've found 3 plugins: Mobile Targeting Plugin for Revive Ad server, $300 mJAX Mobile Ads $1400 code.google.com/p/handset-detection-openx-plugin free BUT the detection by handsetdetection.com only gives you 20.000 detections for free Does anyone know of a free plugin? So far I've try to use > banner delivery options > Client - Useragent > regex match > Mobile|iP(hone|od|ad)|Android|BlackBerry|IEMobile Is this correct? Is there a better way? Thanks
  5. Hi All, Yesterday, I tried to serve responsive ads from my adserver on my localhost. I followed the process as: Created two banners- one 728*90 and other 300*50. Generated two invocation codes by async js for them. In my <div> tag, I put the following code: <div> <script type="text/javascript"> var width = window.innerWidth || document.documentElement.clientWidth || document.body.clientWidth; if (width > 960) { <ins data-revive-zoneid="13" data-revive-target="_blank" data-revive-id="54c1dcde598ba078b0f24adee5f1a71c"></ins> <script async src="//localhost/Eagle/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script> } else { <ins data-revive-zoneid="14" data-revive-id="54c1dcde598ba078b0f24adee5f1a71c"></ins> <script async src="//localhost/Eagle/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script> } </script> </div> Now, this was broken because <script> cannot be written in <script> tag. Please help.
  6. Is there a way to display a certain campaign or specific banners to desktops only (no mobile or tablets)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Hi how can i easily exclude mobile traffic without having to enter endless amounts of user agents into the "client useragent" delivery limitations box?
  8. Hello. I absolutely don't understand, how to serve ads on both desktop and mobile/tablets. Is it possible? Could you please share a manual or something for this? I've searched in forum, but it didn't help me
  9. ...without creating multiple zones? Our publishers often request two tags (one for mobile web, one for desktop). Simple enough to create two campaigns within an advertiser in Revive, with two zones and different invoker codes, but - is there an easier way? Is there a way within Revive, for example, to target or track specific platforms on a single campaign? So - one set of creative, one zone, but the ability to detect mobile vs desktop in reporting?

  12. Hi There, I have been using the PHP ads new platform for the last ten years through it metamorphosis to OpenX source and now Revive. In the past it fit the bill, but recently our needs have grown and we need additional features that are offered on the paid platforms. I am running an ad network with about 400 million ad views a day. The network contains several publishers that our company owns as well as additional 3rd party pubs. Some of the sites we own and operate are TNAflix.com, EMPflix.com, ImageFap.com, PornWall.com, Wankspider.com, MovieFap.com and Hulkshare.com I am looking for a full time dev that will help us build features on top of the basic Revive framework. Here are several features we are interested in creating. -Better security, seems to be the Achilles heal of Revive -POP Up Management for mobile and web platfroms -Device Management: i want to be able to serve different ads based on mobile device -Ad a custom interface for Advertisers that is more esthetic and offers better info on their campaign, including stats per GEO. -Better GEO targeting -Better Admin interface that includes more specific drill downs especially GEO. -Conversion Tracking -Group Management based on Key word, Meta info You are welcome to contact me at the follow email: Sagee@hulkshare.com Thanks, Sagee
  13. Hi all, I am quite new to the world of online advertising. I have been investigating Revive and frankly I'm a bit lost with all the different campaign types. The requirements I need to meet are: 1. Simple, text-based ads, to be shown on a mobile phone, retrieved via the Revive API. (e.g. custom Android app, call Revive API to retrieve ad text) 2. Be able to manage campaigns based on a start and end date. 3. Be able to have multiple banners within a campaign, and show these either in a round-robin fashion or based on a weight/priority. 4. Be able to track if a "user" has seen the banner before - I can identify users based on a unique ID which I can pass to Revive. I have the following questions: 1. Which campaign type is the best for these simple requirements? I have tentatively looked at the remnant campaign. 2. Is there any documentation available for the API? I see lots of OpenX documentation but I'm unsure if this is relevant for Revive. 3. Can the API only be accessed via XML/RPC? 4. Can I drive the creation of these campaigns via the API? Thank you in advance for any help Kind regards, Will
