  1. Hi, I am trying to set the geo city with maxmind, i put the .dat files in the server and set the path to that files, in plugin->detalis->settings, but i am getting this warning message. WARNING: The delivery engine limitations DO NOT AGREE with the limitations shown below Please hit save changes to update the delivery engine's rules and i do not see the Geo - Country / City option in the Add delivery limitation: Client - BrowserClient - DomainClient - IP addressClient - LanguageClient - Operating systemClient - UseragentSite - ChannelSite - Page URLSite - Referring PageSite - SourceSite - VariableTime - DateTime - Day of weekTime - Hour of day what could it be the reason??
  2. Recently Geo Targeting for Revive adserver with GeoIP plugin is not working. Previously it was working fine. I have uploaded the new database GeoIP.dat file. But still it is not working. using targeting to a banner completely stop delivering that banner to all the Geo's. There is an update of GeoIP Database which is in mmdb format. How to use mmdb format in revive for GeoIP plugin?
  3. I've been using the Maxmind City and Country Lite databases for a few years now to do geotargetting. I regularly update the databases. However, I'm suddenly unable to target by City or DMA. Targeting by Country is still in the delivery limitations list, but targeting by City and Metro no longer appear in the drop down box. I checked again to make sure all paths are correct, redownloaded the databases, set permissions to 777, ran the diagnostics on the plugin, and updated to the latest version of Revive 3.20 but nothing works. I do not have the box checked to show delivery limitations even if GeoIP data is unavailable because I need to make sure it's actually working. Any ideas what's going on?
  4. Hello, I must implement the delivery of the ads for given postal codes of Germany. In Delivery options I see only the option for US/Canada Postal Code. Can I use this option also for Germany postal codes? Of course I will buy a paid version of database from maxmind, if this option will work for germany. Thanks for answers. Best Regards,
  5. I was told to file the question on this forum, although, I am pretty sure this is a bug. Anyway, here is the problem: When limiting a banner with: "Is not any of": Country: United States Region: Florida What happens: Connecting from New York: banner is delivered (expected to deliver) Connecting from Florida: banner is not delivered (expected not to deliver) Connecting from Israel: banner is not delivered (expected to deliver!) Using the latest version of GeoIP database. Double-checked that the IPs I do checks from are detected correctly by Revive. Please help me to understand the issue. Thanks.
  6. Try as I might, I just can’t figure this one out. I want to geotarget by city. I have enabled the geotargeting plugin and uploaded the GeoLiteCityv6.dat file into the same directory as the FreeGeoIPCountry.dat file. No matter what path I use, I can’t get the banner limitation to show anything but “continent” and “country” which seem to function correctly. I have modified the xml and php files as suggested but haven’t had any luck with that. I tried showing all the geotargeting options even though there is no database for them but, of course, that is a waste of time. Any suggestions outside of trying to code my own plugin or mess with server configurations would be greatly appreciated.
