  1. Hi, Here is some javascript to easy have click count with swiffy ads inside an iframe. In Revive adserver : create HTML Generic Banner, replace [URL_OF_YOUR_HTML_SWIFFY_FILE] with the url of your swiffy html file. We give clickurl with magicmacro <iframe src="[URL_OF_YOUR_HTML_SWIFFY_FILE]?clickurl={clickurl}" width="100%" height="90px" frambedorder="0"></iframe> Edit your swiffy html file, go down and replace last <script> block <script> var stage = new swiffy.Stage(document.getElementById('swiffycontainer'), swiffyobject, {}); stage.start(); </script>With <script> // !!!!!!! Ads destination link !!!!!! var lienClient = ''; var clickurl = /clickurl=([^&]+)/.exec(document.location.href)[1]; var swiffycontainer = document.getElementById('swiffycontainer'); if (clickurl) { var parent = swiffycontainer.parentNode; var wrapper = document.createElement('a'); wrapper.setAttribute("href", clickurl + lienClient); wrapper.setAttribute("target", "_blank"); // set the wrapper as child (instead of the element) parent.replaceChild(wrapper, swiffycontainer); // set element as child of wrapper wrapper.appendChild(swiffycontainer); } var stage = new swiffy.Stage(swiffycontainer, swiffyobject, {}); stage.start(); </script> Thanks to http://forum.revive-adserver.com/topic/3194-generic-html5-banner-clicks-tracking/ and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6938248/insert-a-div-element-as-parent
  2. Hi, I have problems to upload HTML5 Ad Banner. I have the html file, one css file and also assets folder that’s contains pictures and animation. I have copy and pasted the HTML code into a Generic HTML Banner. I only copy the HTML code and then generated the invocation code to paste in the website. Then the HTML5 banner does not display. It is because the remaining files, assets folder and css file does not upload onto the Revive ad server. Is there other ways to upload the remaining files in Revive?
  3. Hello I am using revive for html5 self hosted banners, and there was an issue how to track clicks when we are using iframe. I found for me some solution, which may be will help somebody also. The mine problem is: We can't use {clickurl} because the link to target website is in self hosted banner and revive can't see it by iframe. The idea: Pass {clickurl} result url from revive to self hosted banner by iframe src parameter and dynamically change banner's target link. Revive generic banner code: In self hosted banner: This is working for me and I will be happy if it can help somebody also.
  4. Hi, on latest versions of Revive server option to define Banner Link for generic HTML banners is missing. On the older versions there was one, but now it's gone. How can one add Destination URL and target via UI on the generic html banner plugin? Attached are screenshots from documentation (an older version) and recent version with no option for Destrination URL
  5. Hello I have some questions on setting up a HTML5 Ad. So I have the html file, three img files, and one css file. I have copy and pasted the html into a Generic HTML Banner type in Revive and that works fine. To get it to display the three images and styling though what do i need to do? Is there a way to upload the four remaining files in Revive and tie it all together in the system? Or do I upload the four remaining asset files to anywhere on the Revive server, and then edit the HTML to point to those locations where files live on the Revive server? Thank you so much for your help! -Millhouse50
  6. Hi, We use edge to create HTML5 banners. We host the banner on a server and then, in Revive AdServer, create a HTML Banner with an iframe pointing to this banner: <iframe src="[banner url]" width="230" height="90" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowTransparency="true"></iframe> The issue is that the click count doesn't work as Revive AdServer isn't able to find out the link. I tried to add a javascript with a clickTag on the banner but it doesn't seems to work: <script>var clickTag="https://www.mytargetwebsite.com";</script> <a href="javascript:window.open(window.clickTag, '_blank');" target="_blank"><div id="Stage" class="EDGE-5175924"></div></a> Any idea on how to proceed?
  7. Hello, Is there anyone that can explain or show how Revive works with HTML5 banners? I have made a HTLM5 and it is showing on the page but no clicks are being registered. How do we track clicks on iframes Any good tutorials?
  8. Hello. You might know that new version of Google Chrome blocks flash-content. So we decided to convert them to html5. We choosed Google Swiffy to make this. But any attempts to do so failed. We tried different options in html5-settings of banners in Revive. And there were messages about the illegal tokens in console and no banner at all (the banners code were in the page source). So, are there any ability to use html5 banners converted in Google Swiffy? Maybe we should use another tool, not Swiffy, for this transformation? I've found only one topic here about this problem (seems that they had the same problem) but without any solution. http://forum.revive-adserver.com/topic/300-html5-swiffy-banner-in-iframe-how-to-make-responsive/
  9. 10. Hi, I have the following scripts from an advertisement company which gave me to test if those scripts are working and the banners are delivered. These scripts serves html5 banners. <script src="http://bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adServer.bs?cn=rsb&c=28&pli=14221062&PluID=0&w=300&h=250&ord= [timestamp]&ucm=true"></script> <noscript> <a href="http://bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adServer.bs?cn=brd&FlightID=14221062&Page=&PluID=0&Pos=1493144698" target="_blank"><img src="http://bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adServer.bs? cn=bsr&FlightID=14221062&Page=&PluID=0&Pos=1493144698" border=0 width=300 height=250></a> </noscript> <script src="http://bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adServer.bs?cn=rsb&c=28&pli=14221073&PluID=0&w=300&h=250&ord= [timestamp]&ucm=true"></script> <noscript> <a href="http://bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adServer.bs?cn=brd&FlightID=14221073&Page=&PluID=0&Pos=1806994993" target="_blank"><img src="http://bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adServer.bs? cn=bsr&FlightID=14221073&Page=&PluID=0&Pos=1806994993" border=0 width=300 height=250></a> </noscript> <script src="http://bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adServer.bs?cn=rsb&c=28&pli=14221077&PluID=0&w=300&h=250&ord= [timestamp]&ucm=true"></script> <noscript> <a href="http://bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adServer.bs?cn=brd&FlightID=14221077&Page=&PluID=0&Pos=856286244" target="_blank"><img src="http://bs.serving-sys.com/BurstingPipe/adServer.bs? cn=bsr&FlightID=14221077&Page=&PluID=0&Pos=856286244" border=0 width=300 height=250></a> </noscript> I had create three html banners with these scripts and the Revive Server previewing the banners perfectly. The i had create the invocation code for the attached zones and add this code on the following page http://www.arttravel.gr/contactus.aspx Unfortunately, at the bottom end of the page, the three test banners are not delivered. Any help please because this is extremely important to make it work as we are talking about a live environment and the advertisers are pushing us to move into HTML5 because they want to stop using flash files. Regards Thomas
  11. HTML5 banners generated using Google Swiffy can't be put into HTML banner field in Revive, the Javascript conflicts, one has to serve them via an iframe. I want the banner to be responsive. There are a lot of variables in play: in the footer of the generated HTML5 file it has this in style tags: html, body width: 100%; height: 100% and it generates this in a div tag: id = swiffycontainer style="width: 728px; height: 90px" the iframe code i insert would normally be something like this (brackets removed so it won't render in this posting) iframe src="http://domainhere.com/images/banners/filename.html" width="728" height="90" frameborder="0" margin="0" padding="0" but i do not get responsive sizing. I also get some unwanted padding from the HTML file in the banner module. should changes be made to swiffy HTML file, to the iframe code i put into Revive, both? I've tried quite a few options and haven't gotten it right. Delighted to pay for assistance from a developer this is a commercial project. We do not want to serve Flash banners, HTML5 is the answer but i'm missing a few pieces of this puzzle. thanks...
