Hello, when i installed and begin to use Revive Adserver, i had an error Error: File permission errors detected. These may impact the accurate delivery of your ads, See the debug.log file for the list of unwritable files It was solved by adding correct path to "Webserver Local Banner Storage Settings". Now i decided to set up GeoIP Plugin to target ads, but when i added "Path to geoipCountryLocation file", the error was rise up again. When i delete the path, the error is going on again. The path is correct for 100%. What can be the problem? Thanks in advance.
I was told to file the question on this forum, although, I am pretty sure this is a bug. Anyway, here is the problem: When limiting a banner with: "Is not any of": Country: United States Region: Florida What happens: Connecting from New York: banner is delivered (expected to deliver) Connecting from Florida: banner is not delivered (expected not to deliver) Connecting from Israel: banner is not delivered (expected to deliver!) Using the latest version of GeoIP database. Double-checked that the IPs I do checks from are detected correctly by Revive. Please help me to understand
Hi I'd really appreciate some setup guidance on the GeoIP aspect of Revive. I've reviewed and followed other similar threads on this forum but without success. As a background, I'm looking to use Revive to serve games ratings logos across the globe - different countries rate the same game in different ways, e.g. USA uses the ESRB system, (most of) Europe uses PEGI and Australia uses COB. The aim is therefore to display a localised webpage with the correct logo for that country. I'm deploying Revive on an Amazon EC2 and RDS and, through the nature of initial evaluation and deploymen
Try as I might, I just can’t figure this one out. I want to geotarget by city. I have enabled the geotargeting plugin and uploaded the GeoLiteCityv6.dat file into the same directory as the FreeGeoIPCountry.dat file. No matter what path I use, I can’t get the banner limitation to show anything but “continent” and “country” which seem to function correctly. I have modified the xml and php files as suggested but haven’t had any luck with that. I tried showing all the geotargeting options even though there is no database for them but, of course, that is a waste of time. Any suggestions out
