  1. I managed to get the license field working and viewable now. But now sure which key to use. Is it this one? Kind regardsAngryWarrior
  2. Thank you very much @andrewatfornax! 😃 I take a look at the link provided. I also created an a account a Maxmind.com and generated a API key. But there is no way of entering both the API license key and the user ID into the plugin's license field. So what am I doing wrong? Kind regardsAngryWarrior
  3. HI Andre. I'm using Revive Adserver v5.0.5 running on Apache, PHP 7.1.33 and MySQL 5.5.5-10.0.38-MariaDB. Kind regards
  4. Anyone knows how to fix this issue? Thanks! Kind regards AngryWarrior
  5. Hi @andrewatfornax I hope you don't mind asking you? But how can I update the plugins manually? Could you maybe please tell me how to do it this? I do understand that I need to download the full zip package of Revive, but to/from where in the folder structure of the zip a and which folders should I use to update manually? I am just asking you because I do not know anyone else here to ask and since you are one of the admins here I figure you might know this.. Thanks a bunch in advance.. 👍 Kind regardsAngryWarrior
  6. Thank you for your reply Stephanie. Well I did assume that the path was just / because the files are installed directly in that root directory. But I was wrong. I done several updates in the past without a hitch, but this was new to me, so it caught me by surprise to see that required field. So any idea how to fix it? Kind regardsAngryWarrior
  7. Thanks Stephanie. Do maybe have an idea on how to do the manual update? I did update to the latest version about two days ago, but I did have a issue during the update. I guess that is why the plugins didn't update automatically. Kind regardsAngryWarrior
  8. Hi @andrewatfornax Thanks for your reply. Well saving doesn't change the message. It is still there. Kind regards
  9. Hi @Stephanie Thank you for your reply. So how do I do that? Where can I find the updated versions of the plugin? Thank you. 😃 Kind regards AngryWarrior
  10. So according to your page: https://www.revive-adserver.com/blog/maxminds-new-license-key-for-downloading-geolite2-files/ But when I follow the instructions there is no "license field" to be found: As you can see: the license key field is not there and I am running Revive Adserver v5.0.5. So what is wrong here and how can i fix it? Thank you! Kind regards AngryWarrior
  11. in the last steps I got an error and the system wanted me to specify the path the previous installation, however I was running itr over the old one because i have "backups of backups" so I don't have to worry much about that. I checked the installation logs and found this: Revive Adserver 5.0.5 detected This version is up to date. Starting file-check for plugins... I did by mistake skip the last steps because I could not get our of the "specify old install location" error message and then it loaded the dashboard and everything seems to be fine. I even went back and changed "INSTALLED" to "UPGRADE" and ran the wizard again, but it seemed perfectly happy and just informed me that the server is already up-to-date and everything is fine and dandy.. But is it? Thanks a bunch in advance... Kind regards AngryWarrior
  12. So i have this message in the banner settings and I do not know how to get rid of it: So how can I fix this error message? Thanks a bunch in advance for the help. Kind regards AngryWarrior
  13. Hi.😄 Let's say an advertiser doesn't allow that their ads are displayed in certain countries , and as for example they won't allow that the banner is displayed in: Afghanistan, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Iran, Israel, Japan, Latvia, North Korea, Palestine, Russia, South Sudan, Syria, and the USA. How can you exclude those from displaying with the ad delivery rules? (I never used the devliery before so its totally new for me). Also the max mind database: How can you update it to make sure it is the latest version? Is it enough with runinng the latest version of Revive or should you also now and then manually update the maxmind geocity database? Thank you. Kind regards AngryWarrior
  14. Anyone here that can please update/inform about this question and if it is possible? Thanks.. 😃
  15. Hi 😃 I been thinking about if it is possible to configure a ad zone dynamically (E.g. you don't set the banner size) so you could serve any banner size within it? Being forced to only use one size in a banner zone feels quite limiting and is not a very flexible solution in my opinion. I would appreciate a lot any feedback of this and if possible how to do it. Kind regards AngryWarrior.
  16. Thanks Andre for your reply. Well it's certainly needed, so I hope they do something about it. Responsiveness is huge part of the ad market today as I am certain that you know and if it is not added then Revive will certainly fall behind other ad server solutions. Kind regards
  17. Responsive ads is along waited and much needed feature! This should be top priority for the dev core team In my humble opinion. Without responsiveness Revive will be outdated and not so relevant. I actually requested this feature myself 2 years ago: But so far nothing has happened...
  18. Yep @Geroge, its long missed feature. I personally asked the devs for it as feature request here long time ago: Bur so far nothing. Maybe add a comment to that thread and they see more people wants this? Kind regards
  19. Will this be added at some point or it isn't planned at all @andrewatfornax? Considering I asked about this two years ago I'm guessing the answer is no, but please correct me if I am wrong. 😃 Kind regards
  20. Hi 😃 Is there anyone here that could tell me what this function does? There is no information in the documentation about the Advertiser tracker so it would be nice to have that one explained. 👍
  21. Hi @andrewatfornax I'm just about to upgrade my revive server and in the process i started to go over the file perms and the documentation about it. I must admit after reading the docs and this thread I'm really confused about it. The page https://www.revive-adserver.com/support/upgrading/ tell you to use 777, but here in the thread it is NOT advised at all.(The documentation should really be updated to the correct file permission recommendations and not 777, and I too really dislike to use 777 too because it is dangerous for obvious reasons.). You also say here that you would not recommend anyone to use that permission etc. So I am kindly asking for the benefit of everyone and anyone that uses Revive Adserver if this could be settled once and for all? What is exactly the absolutely correct permissions for files and directories as they clearly should not run on 777 for a vanilla Revive server. Could you please clearly cut this out in the sand what permissions in that should be used for a vanilla/standard installation? For folders permission number? var var/cache var/plugins var/templates_compiled plugins www/admin/plugins www/images and for files permission number? It would be great to have this cleared once and for all. All this contradicting information makes no good for anyone. Not for the Revive community and neither for Revive Adserver as product itself. Thanks a lot in advance. Kind regards AngryWarrior
  22. I havent tried that. But that would of course require that you tweak the code itself. Probably the WP core files and hmm that would not be feasibible solution as that is deleted as soon as new WP update is released. Well please do correct me if I am wrong. 😉
