1. We had this issue since OpenX. For some reason, Revive doesn't deliver all contracted impressions, even though the website has plenty of pageviews to fill the order. For a real example, we have this ROS (Run Of Site) campaign that ran for the entire month of april. We manage a huge website, on the millions of pageviews. Yet, Revive underdelivered this campaign. This is happening with all our campaigns. And, yes, we are running the latest version. Impressions: 340,000 Impressions Remaining:8,156 One trick we use is to configure the campaign with a higher amount than contracted. But we always end up having to compensate our advertisers. I think this is a bug. Please advise. PS: it seems image attaching is disabled.
2. Hi, On banner delivery limitations, the list of operating systems ("Client - Operating System") must be updated to include: Android iOS BlackBerry Windows Vista (This list is REALLY outdated!) Windows 7 Windows 8 Thanks, Gabriel.
3. Hi, using nginx, Xcache, etc. Of course we use cron. We are running Revive since 2001 when it was still called phpAdsNew.
4. We are already using CloudFlare. Any particular configuration you'd recommend?
5. Hi, Erik. Thanks, we are already using the Single Page Call. We use the above code at the top of the page and then the simple marker for each banner position. I am more worried about the possibility of added latency as the ad server is using a different URL from our main website.
6. An option to check the recommended security settings.
7. +1. And thanks for the jquery-lazyload-ad link, I will take a look into that. Installed a Lazyload script for images, and needed something similar for the banners.
8. Hi, We run revive on a dedicated server, ads.mywebsite.com. Our website runs on its own dedicated server, www.mywebsite.com We use the following code to invoke banners: Because they are on separate servers with different URLs, I guess there is some DNS latency. I wonder if there is any way to improve this latency somehow. The goal is to make banner loading as fast as possible. Thanks, Gabriel.
9. How about this: an e-mail notification when a new version is available. This would help us a lot.
10. Please, let us know how we can contribute. I started using phpAds back in 2001... And was really frustrated with the OpenX team... And really happy that you guys are doing something nice for everyone out there in need of a great ad management tool...
11. Using http://tools.pingdom.com, it recommends: The following resources are missing a cache validator. Resources that do not specify a cache validator cannot be refreshed efficiently. Specify a Last-Modified or ETag header to enable cache validation for the following resources: http://ads.******/www/delivery/ag.php http://ads.******/www/delivery/spcjs.php The following publicly cacheable, compressible resources should have a "Vary: Accept-Encoding" header: http://ads.*****/www/delivery/fl.js I hope this makes sense and that you can implement this somehow on future releases. Thanks.
12. I'd love to make a financial contribution as well.
13. Hi, Once again, thank you so much for "reviving" phpAdsNew/OpenX. My suggestion is for you to add suport for Xcache to cache banners. Currently, only two types of cache is available, disk and memcached. Since we already use Xcache on our server, this addition would be great. Banner Delivery Cache Store Type Thanks, Gabriel.
