  1. Hello all, We just installed a SSL certificate on our server. When attempting to access the Revive admin control panel login page over HTTPS, the following error displays: Database connection error.A fatal error occurred Revive Adserver can't connect to the database. Because of this it isn't possible to use the administrator interface. The delivery of banners might also be affected. Possible reasons for the problem are: <ul> <li>The database server isn't functioning at the moment</li> <li>The location of the database server has changed</li> <li>The username or password used to contact the database server are not correct</li> <li>PHP has not loaded the MySQL Extension</li> </ul> The login screen still works fine over HTTP. Any ideas? I'm running Revive 3.0.7. Any insight is much appreciated!
  2. Thank you for your quick response! I'm glad to hear that 3.0.6 should function OK with PHP 5.4. It's a delicate dance trying to upgrade from this far back in the PHP lifespan. Fingers crossed that I can do it without having to roll back. Thanks again, Kim
  3. I'm in the process of upgrading from OpenX 2.4.9 to the latest version of Revive. I'm currently running PHP 5.2.17. I assumed that OpenX wouldn't support any newer versions of PHP, so I went to Revive 3.0.6, which is the last version that can run on PHP 5.2. From there, I would like keep upgrading as PHP allows to get to the newest version. How far forward can I jump with PHP with Revive 3.0.6? Is there a point where it will stop working? Can I jump to PHP 5.4.x without any issues? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
