It's possible, you'd need to setup MySQL slaving.

Yes it's definitely possible. If it can't connect, then most likely the cause is that either the credentials are incorrect, or there is a firewall blocking the connection.

    Hi Simone,

Revive will only show banners you have created, else something else is wrong if a third party does so. What you also could think about is the possibility to outsource the hosting.

    kind regards,
    Ian

Ian got a reaction from andrewatfornax in Ads Hosting
That all depends on how you configure it. It is possible to host them locally, or use a CDN or so.
If you are worried about the limitations of your hosting provider you could also think about letting your Revive Adserver host by a company specialised in it.

You simply have nothing running on the HTTPS port. You'd need to install mod_ssl and install a certificate.

    Hi Michael,
Try recursive chowning your folder to the user your httpd runs under, e.g. chown -R apache:apache /var/www/your/path/to/revive

You don't need a plugin, Revive Adserver can do that out of the box, see https://www.revive-adserver.com/faq/geotargeting-with-revive-adserver/

Try editing your config file in the "var/" folder.
    Change :
The part which says "mysql" to "mysqli" at the following section :

    [database] type=mysql

You most likely have a cronjob running, with wget or so which automatically saves the file.
you could add to your wget command the -O flag to specify the save location for the file, which you can point to /dev/null, and your issue is solved.

You actually posted the problem already ! It's on the right of "Reason:"
Anyway, I would contact your system administrator, it isn't (CORS header) suddenly enabled out of the blue.
(The ads work for me fine though)

There's a large green image of a stamp with the text "Approved" next to all regular users in the forums (hopefully this will keep Erik away from correcting the name).
Why was this added and who is not deemed an "Approved" user?

That depends, if I recall correctly from 3.2.2 are no database changes made. Anything under I recommend restoring a backup, and doing the upgrade via the 'official' procedure :)
